Midnight un-madness

I am at peace when:

• I'm looking at the stars : Watch them watch me watching them.
• I'm walking alone in the middle of the street while everyone is sound asleep : so still, so quiet, so peaceful.
  
• The sun is shining down on us through porous clouds : it's like listening to snippets of music from heaven.
  
• The moon, my friend, walks me home to my doorstep : it's luminescence, so safe, so magical.
• I close my eyes and remember hugging my mom when she comes home from work : the smell of her blazer, that nice cold AC air lingering around her and that big warm hug, that big warm loving hug that I so need right now.
  

I'm at peace now.
